Well Hello There!

It's been so very long since I've posted anything on my blog. Here are a few things the two oldest have been up to:

BRIANNA

Brianna started gymnastics in April, and every year they have an Exhibition Meet, where they get to show the parents what they have learned. She only had one month to learn the routines, whereas most of the girls had about 4 months to learn them. There were four different categories (I don't know exactly what they're all called, I have no experience with this); the beam, the bars, the jump, and the floor routine. She did really well, and had such a fun time. We were so proud of her!

The next day was the school's dance festival and field day. The Kindergartners did the Humpty Dumpty Dance. It was so cute! Despite her nervousness and the cold morning, Brianna got really into the dance.

TYLER

Tyler had his first experience with soccer this Spring. He loved it, and tried his very best--which meant that about 70% of the time his 7-year-old-brain was paying attention to where the ball was. :) His team only won two games, and he was pretty disappointed about that. But it wasn't a tournament and there were no "winners," so it didn't really matter. He can't wait until soccer starts up again in the Fall! His best friend Riley was on the team, also.

At the dance festival, the second-graders danced to the song, "The Monster Mash." Tyler was dressed up like a zombie. He got pretty into it and thought it was cool. :) It's hard to believe he's already headed to 3rd grade this year!
